Apple does not void warranties for cosmetic engraving. Other manufacturers vary. The engraving is surface-level and doesn't affect internals.
It's a surface mark — visible and permanent, but doesn't cut into the device. You can feel a slight texture with your fingertip.
No. Laser engraving is permanent. It's part of the material. Make sure you're happy with the design before I engrave.
