The details
A photograph engraved into a wood panel: a portrait, a dog, a wedding, the house you grew up in. I prepare the image for contrast and burn it in one fine line at a time. Photo work is the slowest thing I do, hours on the machine for a detailed piece, and it is priced that way. The price follows panel size and detail; a small portrait sits near the floor, a large one well above it.
